As our Presbyterian Directory for Worship notes, Christian marriage is a time to celebrate the gift of love God has bestowed on a couple. At Bethel Presbyterian Church, we begin with the understanding that we are celebrating a gift given by God, and we look forward to working with couples who seek to make their vows, before God, to love and care for each other for life.
If you are interested in being married at Bethel Presbyterian Church, you can download and read through our wedding handbook for information about reserving a date, premarital counseling, fees, and other details you will need to know.
In Christian faith, we witness to the Good News that death is not the end, but a transition from this life to life everlasting. Death brings the real pain of loss, but it does not separate us from the love of God or from the love of family and friends.
A funeral or memorial service is an important rite of passage that helps us honor a loved one by celebrating life, even as we are grieving loss. Many families find such a service especially meaningful as they share stories and hear how much their loved one meant to others. Please contact the church office or Pastor Cathie at any time to let us know of a loved one’s death or in anticipation of an imminent death. More information about funeral and memorial service planning can be found in the funeral and memorial service planning guide.
