In the last few years, during Epiphany Sunday worship, we have passed out construction paper stars- with words written on them- our own epiphany stars to guide us during the year. Paper stars will be available in worship on Jan 1 and Jan 8 this year. However, if you would prefer, or you will not be in church to pick up your star, you can get one here!
All you need to do is click on the star below to receive a random word from the list of words we use each year.
Once you have your word, you can cut out a star from paper and write your word on it and then place it somewhere where you will see it each day. You may receive your word and think, "I know exactly why I received this word." Or perhaps you will have your "aha- that is why I received that word" at some point as the year goes on. But the word is there to open us up to look for a new way God is going to work in us, a new attitude or action God is calling us to, a new place we will be called to go, or a new awareness as we go about our days. As we move through the year, resources will be made available to help guide your reflections on your word and discovery of how God may be using it in your life.
