Cody Soska

Cody joined the staff of Bethel Presbyterian Church in the fall of 2015 as our organist. In addition to joyfully leading the congregation in worship through hymn singing and service music, he accompanies the Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, and special ensembles on the pipe organ and piano. Cody has practiced his craft his entire life and strives to bring energy and excitement in all he plays. He has studied music composition and pipe organ at Carnegie Mellon University. His studies have taken him to Europe and he is overjoyed at the opportunity to play an instrument he loves every week at BPC. His "day job" is spent at CMU in physical computing and he loves using his artistic background to create computing artifacts that change people's lives. In his spare time, Cody is almost always found at the gym where he enjoys playing racquetball and lifting weights.

Emily Mays

Emily Mays joined the staff at Bethel Presbyterian Church in December 2023 as an Administrative Staff member. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Graphic Design from Waynesburg University, where she graduated in 2023. Emily enjoys bringing together her communication and creative skills in her work at Bethel and looks forward to continuing to grow her skills and serve the church community. Outside of work, Emily lives in West Mifflin with her husband, Cameron, whom she married in September 2023, and their four cats: Two-Stroke, Rima, Cleo, and Homie-Houdini, plus her pet snake, Carrot. While Carrot may not be for everyone here at BPC, Emily is happy to answer any questions about reptiles! She is a lifelong animal lover and enjoys fostering cats in her spare time.
