FUNERALS

Funerals and Memorial Services at
Bethel Presbyterian Church

Picture
In the Christian faith, we witness to the Good News that death is not the end, but a transition from this life to life everlasting.  Death brings the real pain of loss, but it does not separate us from the love of God or from the love of family and friends.

A funeral or memorial service is an important rite of passage that helps us honor a loved one by celebrating life, even as we are grieving loss.  Many families find such a service especially meaningful as they share stories and hear how much their loved one meant to others.

Please contact the church office between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM and during off-hours, contact Barb Clark (412-605-7984) to let us know of a loved one’s death or in anticipation of an imminent death. More information about funeral and memorial service planning can be found in the funeral and memorial service planning guide.
If you are grieving or in need of support, please know you are not alone. We are here to walk beside you with care, comfort, and hope. AGAPE Grief Support Group meets on the last Wednesday of each month in the McMillan Room from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. It is facilitated by trained professionals and covers topics such as understanding grief, self-care, remembering your loved one, etc. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
