Changed By Christ So We Can Change The World
Welcome!
Bethel Presbyterian Church is a congregation who worships together, prays together, grows spiritually together, and participates in acts of love together. Located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, we have a rich history in this community dating back to 1776 and we look forward to the ways that our Lord and God is at work for his glory through us.
What kind of people has God called together here? All kinds, from different backgrounds. Whether you like traditional hymns or newer praise music; there's a place for you. If you are looking for an excellent Preschool or Childcare; there's a place for you. But we aren't focused solely on our church building. We believe that being the church means living as the church within our day-to-day, ordinary lives. If you want to be a part of the dynamic and active ministry of Jesus Christ, then we would be overjoyed to be in ministry with you. Feel free to look around and get a feel for who we are. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you in person some day. Until then, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all; now and unto ages of ages."
~Pastor Tom

New Mission Opportunity
As of March 2012, we are beginning participation in a worthy cause, Books for Soldiers. There are troops deployed all over the world and packages are sent to all branches of the military. We are hoping that this will evolve into an ongoing outreach of our church.
How does it work? Please consider donating any gently-used books you no longer wish to keep. You may also donate comic books, magazines, DVD's, CD's, and video games. We are not able to send books of a religious or political nature unless a soldier specifically requests it. If you'd like to drop items off at the church, please find the donation box next to the Marshall Road Entrance.
We will also be sending care packages and morale mail. For a complete list of these items, please click here.
